Planning Commission


The Planning Commission has a very important role in township government. It monitors the orderly growth of the community and makes recommendations to the Township Board on such diverse issues as Zoning, Ordinance Changes, Site Plans and Comprehensive Development Plans.

The Planning Commission meets once a month on the second Tuesday (unless otherwise noted).  Meetings begin at 7:00 p.m. at the township hall. The meeting schedule is here.  Email the Planning Commission at planningchair@tyronetownship.us

TYRONE TOWNSHIP PLANNING COMMISSION

NOTICE OF PUBLIC HEARING

 

Notice is hereby given the Tyrone Township Planning Commission will hold a Public Hearing on Tuesday, May 16, 2017, beginning at 7:30 at the Tyrone Township Hall, 10408 Center Road, Fenton, Michigan 48430. The purpose for the Public Hearing is:

1.      To receive public comments regarding a request by Vincent and Betty Marinco for an increase in the permitted accessory building floor area up to a maximum of 1,200 square feet, subject to compliance with the percent lot coverage and placement standards in Article 20, Schedule of Regulations, and Section 21.02.G, Modification of Accessory Structure Requirements, located at 10079 Carmer Road, Fenton, Michigan 48430, Tax ID 4704-09-400-009.  The property is zoned LK-1, Lake Front Residential.


2.      To receive public comments regarding a proposed shared private driveway and access easement as part of a land division creating two (2) new parcels located at 10252 Carmer Road (on the east side of Carmer Road, between White Lake Road and Hartland Road), Parcel ID: 4704-10-300-009.  The property is zoned RE, Rural Estate.

3.      To receive public comments regarding a proposed private road as part of a proposed site condominium development, West of Lake Shannon, between McGuire Road and Ledgewood Drive, Parcel ID(s): 4704-30-102-010, 4704-30-100-14, 4704-30-100-15, 4704-30-100-16, and 4704-30-100-18.  The properties are zoned R-1, Single Family Residential.
